Worcester County Circuit Court Overview
The Maryland Circuit Courts are the state's general-jurisdiction trial courts. Circuit Court vs District Court
Maryland court names matter because the wrong court level can send a records request to the wrong counter. Worcester County Circuit Court records cover the larger trial-court file, while District Court records cover many traffic citations, misdemeanors, landlord-tenant cases, small claims, and preliminary criminal matters. Restricted Worcester Court Records
Worcester County Circuit Court records are public only when Maryland rules and statutes allow public access. Maryland expungement is handled through court process.
